Group Services:
NMT/Floortime Therapy Groups:  small group sessions that
combine Neurologic Music Therapy and DIR
®/Floortime TM
techniques in a co-treatment setting to address
developmental goals.  Co-led by a board-certified Neurologic
music therapist and a trained specialist in DIR
®/Floortime TM.

Group Neurologic Music Therapy: small group sessions
designed to provide clients with opportunities to create music
together while addressing non-musical goals such as
language/communication and social interaction.

Facilitated Special Needs Play Groups: in-home or agency-
based intimate play groups (with or without music) guided by
a facilitator that focus on supporting pro-social skills.  These
play groups can also be integrated into family/sibling play
groups.

Individual Services:
Individual Neurologic Music Therapy: highly individualized
sessions that utilize therapeutic neurologic music tasks
specifically designed to address objective, measurable,
nonmusical goals.  An initial assessment is required prior to
initiation of service.

DIR®/Floortime TM:  individualized, play-based developmental
therapy which fosters growth in all areas of development
through interpersonal relationships.  


Behavior Intervention: individualized client/family/classroom
guidance that addresses specific behavior issues currently
interfering with a child's healthy development.

Adaptive music lessons: specialized music learning
incorporated into individual Neurologic Music Therapy
sessions.  Techniques are adapted to meet the special
learning styles of each client.  Instruction is provided in the
following areas:
  • piano
  • guitar
  • recorder
  • percussion
  • woodwinds
  • music theory

Music Therapy IEP Assessment: implementation of the
SEMTAP (Special Education Music Therapy Assessment
Process) to determine if music therapy is educationally
necessary for a student.  When music therapy is deemed
educationally necessary for a student, CCC is available to
provide follow-up direct and consultative services to  
address specific I.E.P. goals and objectives.

Other Services:
Consultation: discussion and guidance in DIR®/Floortime TM,
Neurologic Music Therapy, traditional music therapy,
development delays, behavioral issues, and other related
topics.  Consultation is available to parents, non-profit
groups, caregivers, schools, agencies, and other
professionals.  

Training: instruction in a wide variety of Neurologic Music
Therapy, traditional music therapy, and DIR
®/Floortime TM
applications.
